Most work fails in one of two directions. It is warm and welcoming and falls apart the moment it meets a real user, a real edge case, a real quarter. Or it is rigorous and correct and nobody wants to touch it.
We are interested in the third thing: surfaces that are soft on purpose, sitting on a system that does not move. Type scales that hold at 320 pixels. Colour that carries meaning instead of mood. Motion that explains rather than performs. The give is the design. The structure is why it survives.
